Fireflies (Lucciole)
In anticipation of the performance that took place on Oct. 12 by Pauline Curnier Jardin & Feel Good Cooperative, a screening of the artist’s film Fireflies (Lucciole) was held on September 17, as part of the collaboration between If Body and the Short Theatre 2023. Filmed in 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, the video chronicles the group of female artists and sex workers from the Feel Good Cooperative in places where the city merges with the countryside, offering a profound investigation and meditation on desire and border territories. The screening was accompanied by a talk with the artists and protagonists of the film, taking place at Teatro India.
