Noor Abed e Lara Khaldi
School of Intrusions
On 14 September 2024 If Body hosted School of Intrusions, an experimental pedagogical platform born in Palestine under the helm of artist Noor Abed and curator Lara Khaldi.
The workshop focused on the forms of solidarity between the Italian artistic and cultural context and the Palestinian one, particularly through the use of video, focusing on the projection of archive films – some of which come from the Audiovisual Archive of the Labour and Democratic Movement (AAMOD) in Rome – which were shown and analysed together with the artists in order to activate a dialogue on the forms of resistance that have been transmitted through the audiovisual medium between Palestine and Italy.
On the same day, Abed and Khaldi were in conversation with the curators of LOCALES at Angelo Mai, as part of Short Theatre.
